From a young age, I was fascinated by the human body and the intricate ways in which it functions. This curiosity led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, followed by a four-year naturopathic medical degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Boucher Campus). I welcome patients from all walks of life and am dedicated to educating and empowering patients to achieve optimal health and well-being.

Throughout my education, I became particularly interested in pelvic floor dysfunction and reproductive health, including urinary and bowel incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, and pelvic organ prolapse. I am trained in using electromyography (EMG) biofeedback, a non-invasive technique that has been used in the management of various conditions, including pelvic floor dysfunction. I believe that everyone should have access to safe and effective contraception, and am dedicated to helping patients make informed choices about their reproductive health.

I have also received specialized training in cosmetic acupuncture and breastfeeding/chestfeeding support. I have experience in perinatal health, pediatrics, and tobacco/marijuana cessation. Additional areas that I focus on include gastrointestinal health, genitourinary infections, contraceptive care, mental health, and stress management. I am committed to continuing to advance my knowledge and skills through continuing education and research.

I am detail-oriented and dedicated to providing compassionate patient care. I value transparency and open dialogue to empower patients to make informed decisions about their health and to develop feasible, effective, and safe treatment goals. My treatment plans are always tailored to the individual needs of my patients. I am an advocate for collaboration with other healthcare practitioners to bridge the gap in health inequalities and have committed volunteering time working at a harm reduction site and as a yoga teacher at Inspire Health, a non-profit organization providing cancer care services.

Outside of clinical practice, I enjoy knitting for my family and friends, making herbal tinctures, pinching perogies with my husband and tending to my community garden plot.
